— Background

José Ramón Lozano holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Universidad de las Américas-Puebla and a master’s degree in electronic engineering from Stanford University. He obtained a certificate in “Product Creation and Innovative Manufacturing” from Stanford University Alliance for Innovative Manufacturing. He studied the Strategic Finance program and the Senior Management Program at IESDE.

He worked for 5 years at the Schlumberger, a company located in Houston, Texas, as electronics engineer in the research and development area where, as a co-inventor, he obtained five patents. He is founder and current partners and managing director of Custom Control, a company that, since December 2010, designs intelligent spaces in houses and buildings.
